Danish international goalkeeper Thomas Sorenson is another player looking forward to next season after Kevin Phillips and Juan Pablo Angel spoke of their determination to set things right for 2006/7.
Sorenson, who currently has a finger injury, told the official site: ‘The main aim next season has got to be to do much better as a team. We know what we’re capable of, but we have to live up to that.’
He also says that last season was ‘quite disappointing’ for the team but ‘personally I was happy with the season and the way it went. I kept 11 clean sheets, plus a few in the cup. So in that department we bettered what we’d done in the past.’
‘I was quite happy with that, but overall we were very disappointed as a team.’
