U21s In Eight Goal Thriller

Unfortunately we didn’t score the eight goals, and nor did we even score half of them as we came out of today’s game with Fulham the losers.

It was another one of those annoying 1pm at Bodymoor Heath encounters so news from the game is at the moment thin on the ground.

Ahead of the game Jordan Bowery, and returning loan duo Jordan Graham and Benjamin Siegrist found themselves selected after they returned from one month loan deals with Bradford and Burton respectively.

Villa were two down inside of the first 25 minutes, but went into the half time break with renewed hope following an own goal by them. Shortly into the second period, Villa got themselves back on level terms as Callum Robinson found the net and then Danny Johnson put us into the lead for the first time after Bowery won us a penalty.

12 minutes from time however Fulham rallied and got themselves back into it before a few minutes later Siegrist found himself beaten by the wind as a long clearance was given a helping hand over our keeper.
