Kevin MacDonald’s Under 23 side sent themselves into Christmas with a comfortable four one derby victory over West Bromwich Albion this week.

Travelling to Aggborough for the game on Monday evening, goals from Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, Jordan Cos, Callum O’Hare and Harry McKirdy gave us aother three point in the foggy conditions in a far improved second half showing.

Having found themselves back on level terms, West Brom went down to ten men just after the hour mark and that more than helped play its part in our win.

West Brom:

Palmer, Soleman, Jameson, Ferguson, Melbourne; Brown, Bradley, Azaz (Wilding 69), Morton, Tulloch (Clayton-Phillips 89), Campbell (McCourt 73).

Subs:

House, Pierce.

Goals – Jameson (21).
Red – Bradley.

Aston Villa:

Steer, Clark, Borg, Suliman, Bedeau, Clarke, Doyle-Hayes (Prosser 83), O`Hare, McKirdy, Hogan (Mooney 87), Hepburn-Murphy (Cox 56).
