To be fair, they kept the ball but it was tippy tappy at the back, hardly ever incisive.
He points out the quality from Conor Hourihane and also the great first goal.
He feels we are going in the right direction and surely with Burton (Tuesday) and Bolton next Saturday, we can start looking at a good point tally for September? That has to be two more wins you would think? I can`t remember the last time I was thinking of four wins on the spin, can you?
He also points out Adomah being a professional, he didn`t sulk when he was dropped and he`s forced his way back into the team. I said in a thread in the forum earlier that actually it looks like the dropping has ended up paying dividends. It`s important players don`t feel they are automatic choices and that they have to perform every game to stay in the team. He`s answered in spades since returning, he`s looking far keener and more consistent.
All in all, an ugly win but a win. That`s all you ask for when trying to get promotion isn`t it? 3 points!
