Hannover striker Niclas Fullkrug is a summer target for the club, according to Bild.
The German tabloid reports we are one of six English teams competing to sign the 25-year old. Championship sides Cardiff City and Fulham, as well as Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Leicester City and Watford, are all said to be keeping tabs on the player.
With a number interested parties, and the forward not having a release clause, Hannover believe they can secure a “double-digit million” figure for the former German Under 20 international.
Fullkrug has been in good form in the Bundesliga, having scored 13 goals in the league this season, and two in the German Cup. He put in a good performance at the weekend as well, scoring and providing an assist in the 3-1 win against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
English clubs are not the only ones pursuing the German with fellow Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg also having a long-standing interest in the striker.
