QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo is reportedly on the club’s radar. SBS in Australia believe that we have joined Crystal Palace and Malaga in targeting the player.

The 25-year-old has been in good goalscoring form in the second half of the season with five goals in his last 15 Championship appearances.

SBS believe that we are “likely to make a bid” for the Australian international if we are promoted to the Premier League. Malaga meanwhile enquired about the midfielder’s availability in January, and could return in the summer.

Palace are also said to be long-term admirers of the player’s ability, and Luongo could be tempted to make the switch to Selhurst Park as he wouldn’t have to move from his London home.

He signed for QPR in a £3.5million deal back in 2015 from Swindon, and SBS report that we were close to signing him even back then before he moved to Loftus Road.

The Aussie has 31 international caps, and will likely be at this summer’s World Cup where he will look to impress clubs with his performances at the tournament.
