Villa will be hoping this international break flies by in the coming days as the club is on a fine run of form and now into the top six in the Sky Bet Championship.

The manner of our rise into the play-off places has been fantastic, and it is obvious that the return of Jack Grealish has played a big part in that.

John McGinn, Kortney Hause and Tyrone Mings are among those to also deserve credit, too, but it is Super Jack who has really ignited this surge towards a potential Wembley final.

And, with that in mind, there will surely be cause for transfer interest in him again this summer from the Premier League – particularly if we do not go up this campaign.

Indeed, the Birmingham Mail has suggested Spurs are still keen and a former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has said that Grealish could go right to the top.

As quoted by the Birmingham Mail, he said:

“I love Grealish.

“I think he’s a real talent, honestly. I love watching him play.

“I think he’s a kid who could play at the very top level.”

You can’t disagree with his endorsement of the attacking midfielder, let’s just hope Spurs don’t pay much attention to their former gaffer’s words!
