Aston Villa Academy graduate Callum O’Hare will build on the positive experience he had out on loan in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign with Carlisle United, and will spend the rest of the season out on loan with Coventry City.

The 21-year-old highly rated prospect had a good spell at League Two level with the Brunton Park outfit last year, featuring 16 times and returning three goals, and he’ll now make the step up to League One with third place Coventry.

With Mark Robins, from what I can tell, trying to play football in the right way despite Coventry’s ongoing off pitch issues, it should be another good spell for him and over the course of the 2019/20 campaign, he should certainly increase his game time and experience once he settles in.

Given Coventry’s ground share agreement with Birmingham City, the fact that O’Hare could well be the finest player to take to the Trillion Trophy Stadium this year wasn’t lost on anybody.
