1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
At the tender age of 5 years old – my father worked at the now (disgracefully) demolished HP Smedley factory and took me into work at some point. We drove past Villa Park and I fell in love with the size of it and the claret and blue livery. (We also drove past Ansells brewery and the smell of the ale also started another lifelong love affair!)
2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?
Watching the 82 European Cup final on the tellie.
3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?
Denis Mortimer – for the thing that this current team obviously lacks – backbone and leadership.
4) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?
Utterly out of his depth – wastes transfer money, can`t pick a team and tactically one of the most naive managers I have seen anywhere. Nice line in pullovers though.
5) Best and worst moments of last season?
Apart from it ending – coming back from 2 down to beat the Baggies 4-3 at home. Worst moment, losing to Fulham – twice!
6) Your opinion of Randy Lerner now he has put us up for sale?
The same as before he put it up for sale – he`s an incompetent owner who then lost interest when he realised he`s not cut out for owning a sports team.
7) What sort of new owner would you like, what do you expect from them?
A rich one who will assemble a board with people who get football and business. I`d like a proper football man on the board like GT, and expect greater communication and engagement with fans.
8) Transfers are obviously up in the air as we are for sale, but any ideas of who (probably with the current regime) like to see us grab?
Depends on who owns the club and what the budget is. At present I`d just like us to address the issues in midfield creativity and obviously left back. Not fussy as long as they`re not from League 2 as usual!
9) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?
Some of these might sound harsh but you did ask!
Given, Baker, Clark, Luna, Hutton, Sylla, El Hamadi, Tonev, Bent, Gabby (controversial but needs a fresh start somewhere else).
10) Favourite and least favourite current player? (Explanation if you wish)
Fave = Benteke, pure class and only going to get better.
Least fave = Tonev, dunno what he`s like in training but on match days he`s one of the worst players I`ve seen in claret and blue.
11) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?
First hero was Tony Morley- loved his mazy runs and counterattacks during that European Cup campaign.
Fave all time players – Denis Mortimer; Paul McGrath; Juan Pablo Angel; Paul Merson, Martin Laursen and Olaf Mellberg.
12) What do you expect us to do/finish this season if not sold… impossible to speculate if sold at the moment!?
Premier: 16th.
FA Cup: Out as soon as we face the first bunch of cloggers from League 2.
Capital One: As above.

Why on earth have you renewed your season ticket?
