1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
About 10, spent youth playing more than watching/supporting and got given a kit for playing in a rep squad by the die-hard manager we had.
2) Alex McLeish? Your opinion please?
Good guy, down to earth, well respected, solid defender in his day and won’t take any rubbish from the players (but think that he will from the board.) Sadly, I think that there is a tactical void in his makeup and he is no genius. Needs the likes of Sid can contribute a lot with this.
3) Best and worst moments of last season?
Best was Houllier getting the heave-ho, although he claims that he quit.
Would like to say that I enjoyed the Liverpool game when the Bloo noses went down (and I did at the time) but the more that I think about it, if they had stayed up and Wigan had got relegated, we could have a very different manager at the helm now!!!!!!!!!! Maybe that was the worst moment aswell?!?!?!?!
4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner?
He never speaks so I am reluctant to trust him. Bit like the person who comes down the pub but doesn’t drink alcohol, there’s a reason!!
Feel that he has conned a lot of people and is now showing his true colours in trying to make money, which although it’s his prerogative, isn’t quite the same as the Acorns sponsorship where he made out that he was happy to do things for a good cause at his own expense.
5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?
As I type this, talk of N’Zogbia is rife and near enough done, good addition, but oh what could have been had we got him last year with Bent…. Sigh….
Scott Parker in our current predicament would be perfect. I think as every team needs a player like that.
6) Stewart Downing, now he has gone, were Villa right to get shot of him or should they have kept him against his wishes?
Don’t blame him for going. We got a good price for somone who can’t/won’t tackle. Really don’t think Big Eck was that bothered anyway as not his type of player.
7) Favourite current player?
Have we got any players left???
Shame about Carew leaving, would say James Collins as he’s immense in the air but so poor, as is our whole backline, on the ground.
Would have to be Delph, love his attitude.
8) Favourite all time player/s?
God, Daley, Yorke, Spink, Bosnich, Ash
9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?
Premier 10-12
FA Cup: Fully depends on luck of draw

Also rans with a couple of years of the dizzy heights of 7th to 8th and still banging on about the glorious early 80s ;-D
