Looks like most of the transfer talk relating to Aston Villa, apart from wild or ridiculous speculation on click-bait sites, is about exits.
It makes sense, there are fringe players who need regular first team football and can`t get it at Villa, former AFC Bournemouth legend Tommy Elphick for one. And then there is the player and his gate who won`t get a look in at Villa now. Bruce has made it clear he isn’t in his plans so Villa might as well get some money back for him, despite the massive hit financial hit. That player being Ross McCormack obviously. Firing them in down under but lets be honest, that league is not exactly top quality is it?
Be a good move for Villa to cash in and be nice to see Elphick get regular football. pic.twitter.com/4d0k1hCrvN

Anyway, as I`ve not done any speculation recently, the Birmingham Mail say that Leeds United might be in for both players for around £7million.
Only the CEO Keith Wyness knows what value he wants from these sorts of players, but reducing our wage bill and freeing up some funds seems sensible due to the struggles with the awful Financial Fair Play rules.
Keith talked with the fans on Radio WM this week, the one point he made was that there are players that the club could offload but you can only do that if you have an interested buyer. With Micah Richards not fit and Gabby Agbonlahor being linked with an exit as his contract runs out in the summer, Mr W points out that there have been no enquiries about either.
Birmingham Mail have the quotes:
“Gabby has been trying to contribute, I know Micah hasn`t played for a while, but in order to move someone on, you`ve got to have a club that wants to buy that player. At this stage, we`ve had no interest for either player. Gabby will be out of contract at the end of this year, and there`ll have to be a decision made as to whether we want to keep him.”
And maybe a hint that they will try to pay off Micah:
“With Micah, he`s got an extra year even after that. We need to see if there`s some way we can find an accommodation for Micah that suits him and us.”
Oh and John Percy believes the rumours we are after Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe might be true. Not sure why when we have enough options that we`d want a loan to fill a position that doesn`t need filling? And Ritchie De Laet might also be on his way out. Don`t think he`d be a great loss would he?
Aston Villa hoping to push through a loan deal for Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe this week. Lots of competition. Villa also in talks with Royal Antwerp over a deal to send Ritchie De Laet on loan #avfc #mufc
