The Daily Record are reporting that we are tracking Hibernian playmaker John McGinn.

Considering the cashflow crisis, and everything else going on at the club, it’s pretty strange to see us linked with anyone at the moment, but the Scottish newspaper say we are looking at the midfielder.

Despite the issues surrounding Tony Xia’s ownership of the club, Steve Bruce is apparently still planning for next season, and one of the players he is looking at is McGinn.

The Scottish international is reportedly valued at £5m by Hibs but the Record believe the money would likely come from the sale of Jack Grealish

Our no.10 has been heavily linked with a £40m switch to the Premier League, with Newcastle the latest team looking at the 22-year old.

If Jack does depart, we are said to be keeping an eye on a possible replacement with McGinn believed to be an option that we are considering.
