Middlesbrough are considering a “joint bid” for Albert Adomah and Birkir Bjarnason, according to TEAMTalk.

It seems like the Teessiders are keen on re-signing their former winger, while it looks like Tony Pulis is also a big fan of the Icelandic international.

Boro won’t be alone in their interest for Adomah though, with the website reporting that West Brom are also interested in the 30-year-old.

Considering our need to sell players this summer, it seems the pair could provide much-needed funds, with interest said to be high in Bjarnason as well.

The midfielder has been linked with a switch to Serie A with the Birmingham Mail reporting that “several Italian clubs” are tracking the 30-year-old.

With the club not even being able to afford loan deals at the moment due to the extent of the cash flow crisis, transfer fees from these two potential sales could prove pivotal.
