Curtis Davies has said today that he’s comfortable playing alongside any of the three defensive partners he has had this season.

Speaking on the official site Davies was full of praise for his defensive partners, namely Zat Knight, Martin Laursen and Carlos Cuellar. To be fair I’m sure he could also add Nigel Reo-Coker, Kames Milner and Luke Young to the list aswell if he wanted.

Describing them as quality, Davies also admits he doesn’t mind who he plays alongside just so long as he’s in the squad himself.

‘I’ll play with any one of them as they are all top quality.

‘As long as I’m playing, I’m happy. We’ve got top quality centre halves here with Carlos, Zat and Martin.

‘As long as I’m playing I trust either one of them and I’m just happy to be playing in the team.’

After returning to winning ways and keeping a clean sheet, Curtis is looking forward to Zat’s old club Fulham this weekend.

‘Fulham is not an easy place to go. It’s a tight little ground and the fans get right behind them so hopefully we can do better than we did last year and take three points.

‘They are still in the hunt for the European places as well so that will be a tough game.

‘I don’t know if many of Zat’s mates are left. Since Hodgson has gone in he’s had a bit of a shake-up but I know Zat still looks out for Fulham so I’m sure he’s got a few mates there!’
