Highly Rated Villa Youngster Secures 100% Of The Vote In Monthly Goal Competition

Highly rated academy graduate, Jacob Ramsey, headed out of Villa Park back at the end of January, with the 18-year-old midfielder heading for a loan spell out with League One side Doncaster Rovers, and the youngster has certainly taken his chance to impress so far in the second half of the 2019/20 campaign.

Having made his debut for us in 2018/19 as a substitute in the Championship clash with West Bromwich Albion, he made two further sub showings this season for head coach Dean Smith, but having grabbed a brace on his debut for the Keepmoat Stadium outfit, he has quickly impressed their fans.

Did Ramsey Deserve The Win Here!?

Yes

Yes

Yes

Six starting appearances and one substitute showing later, he now has three goals to his name and despite football coming to a swift (and possibly temporary) close this month, his strike against MK Dons at the beginning of March has been voted as their Goal of the Month.

I get the feeling this is going to go down as a strange quiz question in the future as it was Doncaster’s only goal of the month and in a battle against himself when it came to the fan vote, he won a 100% share.

Made me smile anyway.
