With Mark Delaney’s young charges coming through the Southern Group C battle with three victories and finishing in top spot – 3-1 Wycombe Wanderers, 4-2 Burton Albion, 4-2 MK Dons – we now travel to League One Charlton’s, The Valley, as we look to keep our unbeaten run going.
Despite being drawn at home, some outlet’s are wrongly reporting the game will take place at Villa Park, so I repeat, it will be played at The Valley as Under 21 sides are always the travellers.
19-year-old Cameron Archer is already the leading goalscorer in the tournament, with six to his name so far, so he’ll definitely be looking to keep that run going.
