West Ham manager David Moyes has told Robert Snodgrass that he wants him to stay at the Hammers next season, according to the Sunday People (via HITC).

The Scot joined us on a season-long loan deal when Slaven Bilic was still in charge of his parent club, but it looks as though the Croatian’s successor at the London Stadium is keen on a reunion.

Since arriving at Villa Park, the winger has been an integral member of Steve Bruce’s starting eleven, with eight goals and 13 assists to his name in the Championship this campaign.

There’s no doubt we would like to keep him on a permanent basis, but the decision is very much out of our hands.

Not only will Moyes have a say on our current no.7’s future, but the fate of the club in the playoffs will also determine if we have the funds to make a sizeable bid for the Scottish international in the summer.
