James Chester completed the remarkable feat of playing every single minute of the league season when he played the full 90 minutes against Millwall on Sunday.
His achievement is even more astonishing when you consider that he hasn’t missed a single Championship game since he was signed in 2016. That is 91 appearances and counting.
Fans on Twitter praised the centre back’s incredible record:

Verdict:
Chezzy’s run in the team is a great achievement, but the fact he has been incredibly consistent as well during that time, makes it all the more special.
The Welsh international deservedly picked up the supporter’s player of the season award, and his partnership with John Terry will be absolutely vital if we are to achieve promotion through the playoffs this campaign.
With two years remaining on his contract, the 29-year-old could be in line for another deal before too long. Hopefully, by then, we will be a Premier League team once again!
