Speculation late last week had linked us as being the most likely to capture Everton’s Yannick Bolasie on a loan spell, and Aston Villa paraded the player on the pitch ahead of last weekend’s draw with Reading at Villa Park.
This guy used to pick me up in a corsa going to Barnet rented me a room at Bristol lol what’s he going to do for me at villa guys ? ❤️ #unclealbert @AVFCOfficial pic.twitter.com/S2Ole1iGap

A number of fans were extremely excited about the link when it surfaced, whilst others like myself were more cautious, but Bolasie was certainly saying all the right things and it didn’t sound like he had any confidence hangover from his lengthy spell out injured and less than impressive showings for Everton as their fans got on his back whilst he was still trying to get his fitness back.
Undoubtedly we have got a cracking player on our hands who should make a difference to our promotion hopes in the Championship season of 2018/19 but we shouldn’t be expecting too much to soon as despite how much he’ll want to set the record straight with a fresh start, the chances are it’ll take him a bit of time to settle in and find his previous form before we see the best of him.
Set up the goal for you to score to get promoted ???????? UTV!

From a toffee. Best of luck at Villa, sometimes it doesn't work out at a certain club, injury early on didn't help. Hoping you find peace and enjoy your time at Villa.

Plenty of good comments from Everton fans as well given the criticisms I’m aware of.
