Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack has been quoted as saying that Melbourne are in discussions with us over extending his loan spell out in Australia. Having been largely disastrous for Villa since arriving from Fulham for £12million (24 appearances, 3 goals) ‘Gate-Gate’ has seen him spend time with Nottingham Forest on a loan spell and this season he made the switch to Australia and Melbourne City. Tony Pulis wants right-back Alan Hutton to join him up t`north. The 33-year-old will have been with us for 7 seasons come the summer but it isn`t clear at the moment if Villa will offer him an extension. The Scottish Cafu is also apparently interesting Aberdeen.
