With the club moving over to local designer LUKE 1977 for next season, a number of kit designs have sprung up on Twitter suggesting how the new home shirt could look.
One of the more popular designs that has been shared by the Birmingham Mail in recent days is by @OurAVFC.
Another Kit Concept for you to judge. #avfc pic.twitter.com/6iqx4LIOyj

They use the RECON Group logo rather than Unibet who are sponsoring our kit at the moment. They have also included LUKE1977 branding. Supporters on Twitter had some mixed reactions to this mockup:

Not keen on the shirts with the pin stripe. Anyone got links to other concepts?

Don't think it'll have his logo on it. It will be Fanatics. He just designed it.

I think it stated on the Villa webpage that it will only have the LUKE logo and not the Fanatics logo.

Verdict:
As some have already said, the pinstripe motif can probably be dropped. Also, the logo for LUKE 1977 really doesn’t look that great on the claret. They will have to think of a good way of including it (if at all) before they launch the new design.
The decision to move away from a traditional kit manufacturer is an interesting call to make, so hopefully, everything works out well.
