Well, two specific on the Villa but I thought this in the Telegraph was interesting:
Midfielder Gareth Barry, 32, intends to see out the final year of his contract at Manchester City – despite being told he can leave.
Get him back to Villa for a couple of years. Great experience, great player, fan of Villa (fact!) and an older head for the youngsters to bounce off and learn from. A clear Captain in the waiting!
Anyway, they won`t do that…!
The Daily Mail claim that Villa are after Norwich City midfielder Elliott Bennett.
Bennett has just one year left on his contract at Carrow Road. He has featured, according to the Mail, 56 times (with 2 goals according to wiki) since his move to Norwich in 2011.
Oh and we`ve been linked to Crewe midfielder Luke Murphy again!
