The first fixture of 2017 for our Under 23 squad finished the same as the last game of 2016 did against Fulham – three goals a piece in a six goal thriller.

Making the trip to Aggborough to face off against the Boingers as the 2016/17 campaign continues following the festive break, Kevin MacDonald’s boys found themselves both in front and behind as the game ebbed and flowed.

Taking the two goal lead through Callum O’Hare and Harry McKirdy, there’d have been disappointment with their three goals (in the space of 15 minutes) and two of them came from Saido Berahino who seems to have rediscovered he’s a supposed to be a footballer and not obsessed with social media.

But hey we can hardly quibble about footballers not doing their jobs can we!

In any event Rushian Hepburn-Murphy found the late equaliser and depending on who you believe, he’d do well to realise a Saido Berahino attitude probably isn’t the brightest thing to replicate.
