1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
I was about 5 or 6 when I fell in love with football, my family are all Villa fans and I was never given a choice. I had a stage at secondary school where I tried to support Utd because all my friends did. I wonder if my life would have been more satisfying had I been a Utd fan enjoying all these trophies and would be laughing at Liverpools embarrassing bids for the likes of Barry & Downing! However the look on my dads face when I told him I wanted out made me stay a Villan and I am really glad I did as its who I am!
2) Alex McLeish? Your opinion please?
Like everyone I was shocked, however in the cold light of day you have to look at it and think it could, just could be a masterstroke. He seeems well connected and respected by Fergie and in my book there is no one better to have on your side. Like all managers he will be judged on results, I just wish Villa fans get behind him from day 1 as we need to be together on this one now its happened! Also the step of meeting some fans was very unusual but seeing what was put on Vital Villa I cant help but respect him for that. You also have to admire his balls!
3) Best and worst moments of last season?
Best – When we went 2 – 0 up against Man Utd, there was ‘THAT` moment with all the kids on the pitch that you thought we are going to be the next Barcelona. Hogg was crunching in to everyone, Bannan was spraying it like Hoddle in his prime, Albrighton was looking like a major threat, Clark has all the talent in the world. We surely are going to get Europe and could be champions next season! If only that game had finished with a 2 – 0 Villa win I think it could have been a real starting point of something great!
Worst – Pretty much every time we let in an equaliser, how many times did we nearly get 3 points or go up in games to end up with 1 or no points! So many games we played well and got nothing, it seemed that the worse we played at times the better the result.
4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner?
I think we have a very astute and shrewd businessman who truly wants to take the club forward. However what can Villa really aim to achieve? You have Man City, Chelsea & Utd who can all spend more than we can. You cant buy the title therefore. Arsenal, Liverpool & Spurs are run pretty well but are a little more sensible, they show what a good manager can do. I think we have identified that the only way we can compete is to focus on our youth teams and find a few gems. Get in some clever signings but we need team spirit etc. Hence maybe why he has the right man in McLeish, would love to meet Randy for a pint or two!
5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?
I think Given, N Zogbia, Hitzelsperger, Parker would be good for experience. I would like to see a marquee signing like Bent come in plus a full back. I have never seen Gary Gardner play but I have heard so much about him, I really want to see him given a chance this season.
6) Stewart Downing, if he really wants out, should Villa refuse to let him go or get shot?
It depends. If we get N Zobia I would be pretty excited to have him and Albrighton on the wings. However its a squad game now… If we get a big offer from Liverpool then maybe we should let him go, he is bound to be well paid like Young was so all the time our wage bill is coming down. Maybe get it this dutch winger we were licked to for a few million and we will have change from the 2 wingers to spend on a much needed full back. What is it with Liverpool and not giving Villa the market value for their players. They are becoming a classless slub and deserve not to be in Europe in my opinion
7) Favourite current player?
Its a tough one, probably has to be Bent. I will be so glad he is taking penalties next season as I never thought Ash would score!
8) Favourite all time player/s?
Ooh Ahh Paul McGrath – legend. Also used to love Tony Daley and of course Platty who scored a hat trick in a 3 – 2 win vs Spurs in my 1st ever game at Villa Park
9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?
Premier 7th – 12th, not expecting great things but hope a few kids come through this season. Although if we turn those dropped points from winning positions in to points – we are laughing
FA Cup: I expect a strong cup run, we can beat anyone on our day. Lets hope for some good draws
Carling: Winners, if McLeish can do it with Small Heath he can surely do it with Villa!

11) Right, lets lower the tone… which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!
Megan Fox, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I 1st watched transformers when she 1st came on screen!!
I would pretty much like to thump any camp celebrity that gets on television, I have no issue with people who like people of the same sex but for gods sake there is no need to put on that awful voice. Its so cringe worthy that I cant watch anything that they do, which seems to be more and more every time I turn on the tv!
