1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
Crikey, we go back to the late 50`s when my grandmothers friend took me down to the temple of Birmingham football and was hooked! Helped by the fact that most of my family were Villa fans but the atmosphere was compelling. Never looked back!
2) Alex McLeish? Your opinion please?
Regarding Eck, like a lot of fans my initial reaction was what the hell are we thinking! But once the blood pressure had subsided i began to think well ok the board have made a decision which must have involved some serious consultation with people in the know so I started to think well ok let`s at least give the man a chance and forget his association with SHA and judge him at some future date.
3) Best and worst moments of last season?
Worst has to be the untimely divorce with MON which left us right in it! The highlight has to be the signing of Darren Bent which was a big statement by Randy at the the time and surely rescued our season.
4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner?
I think that his heart is genuinely with the club but he is an astute businessman and sees the need to exercise control but at the same time be seen to make some progress and this may well be to our advantage when the Financial Fairplay rule starts to bite. So maybe he might get more plaudits in due time.
5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?
We can all dream but realistically N`Zogbia wouldn`t be bad and obviously a keeper or two are essential and that means Given or Foster then with the financial constraints plus the opportunity for younger players to come through then maybe a couple of loan or end of contract players of suitable quality.
6) Stewart Downing, if he really wants out, should Villa refuse to let him go or get shot?
I have to say that I`m of the opinion that questions the whole point of a contract for players or managers as they seem to count for nothing as does loyalty and I could happily bang on about this ad infinitum but in essence if an individual is not happy to proudly wear the AV shirt and give minimum 100% then get shot and see if the grass really is greener!
7) Favourite current player?
Had circumstances been different I would have gone for Downing but now he`s showing his true colours well then you have to admire Petrov for his unwaving commitment.
8) Favourite all time player/s?
I`ve seen a few greats like Mortimer,Gray, Laursen etc. but the stand out for me would have to be the great Paul McGrath!!
9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?
Premier I would have to say that with so many clubs now vying for top spots and the relative spending we will probably have to settle for 9th/10th.

Is Mr Lerner in this for the duration ?
I think so as long as the supporters share his strategy.
11) Right, lets lower the tone… which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!
Laura Vandervoort from the current Sci Fi series V as regards whacking someone that would be either of the Gallagher brothers. Total dipsticks to be polite.
