1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?
I became a Villa fan because I was introduced by my dad at a young age. He bought me a shirt with my name on the back. Since that day I have followed them!
2) Alex McLeish? Your opinion please?
Was not my first choice for the obvious Birmingham City connection. Although, I am a believer that everybody should get a fair chance. For this reason I want to give Alex time with the squad to see what he can do. Until disaster strikes with results I will back him 100%.
3) Best and worst moments of last season?
Best – Signing Darren Bent has to be up there for me. Fantastic signing. Another top moment for me was beating Arsenal at the Emirates at the end of the season. Its moments like these, beating the top clubs that make me smile uncontrollably.
Worst – Without a doubt, losing to Birmingham. Did not enjoy the stick that I received and it showed what a terrible season we were having. Losing to Wolves at home wasn’t a great feeling either. Players lost their passion.
4) Your opinion of Randy Lerner?
I know there has been a lot of criticism of him recently, but I think he is a top chairman. He has spent a lot of money at Villa Park. Spending so much money on Darren Bent in January was him showing a lot of faith and devotion to the Aston Villa cause and he should be respected for that. He has given all of his managers time and a lot of breathing space. I trust his decisions 100% because I really feel he has Villa in his heart.
5) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?
Well after the N’Zogbia signing, from reading reports, we won’t be signing anyone else. Not sure whether to believe that or not. Personally I would quite like Alan Hutton from Spurs. Think we would get a good price for him and I think he is better than Luke Young. If we could get Aiden McGeady in I think we would be flying, but can’t see it happening.
6) (changed question!) Stewart Downing, now he has gone, were Villa right to get shot of him or should they have kept him against his wishes?
Yes. I said when there was the speculation around him, that if we got £20mil +, then we should sell. If he doesn’t want to commit, he doesn’t really want to be here that much. We have made a tidy little profit on him and honestly I think we have twice the player in N’Zogbia for half the price. I hope he flops big-time at Liverpool for the way he has been, and I really think he will.
7) Favourite current player?
It was Ashley Young. Now probably Darren Bent, world class striker. I am a big admirer of Ciaran Clark though, think he could be big for us if given playing time.
8) Favourite all time player/s?
Ian Taylor, great ambassador for the club. Was a big fan of Dion Dublin and Stan Collymore!
9) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?
Premier: Not sure. I will go for 7/8th. Depends how we start.
FA Cup: Quarter Finals.
Carling: Final maybe?!
10) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?
Q: Should we leave Randy alone?
A: Yes, trust the guy!
11) Right, lets lower the tone… which celebrity would you most like to bang and which (male I would think) celeb would you most like to thump!?!
Hmmmm, bang Irina Shayk (Ronaldo’s Missus) or Delta Goodrem and thump either one of Jedward.
