23-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Kortney Hause was a somewhat unexpected arrival back in the January transfer window as Aston Villa moved quickly to shore up our depleted defence and whilst it took him a bit to get going given his lack of game time, he soon began impressing fans.
Having played his part in the Wembley based Championship Play-Off Final against Derby County earlier this week as he came on as Tyrone Mings’ replacement given his late injury, he ends the season with 12 appearances for us in total (10 starts) and the return of one goal from our victory over Nottingham Forest.
With fans already knowing we have a buy clause on the deal plenty are hopeful we’ll take that up quickly as thoughts turn to the first team squad looking to dent the Premier League on our return, and plenty loved his celebration message on social media.
Came here in January on a mission to get this club back to where it belongs, 6 months later … Mission completed #UTV! 💜✅🏆🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/7xFvB2qNR3
