Many fans are hoping that Jack Grealish isn’t selected to play against Millwall on Sunday.
The fear that our no.10 could get injured before the playoffs has led many to advocate that the midfielder be omitted for the match at the Den.
Here is some of the Twitter reaction:

We need to rest Grealish this weekend as otherwise Millwall would be trying to foul him all the time and he could be the key in the playoffs #avfc

I agree, I’ve said before, with out him , we have nothing, and we can’t afford to be without him in certainly the 2 play off games, so I hope he is not involved, including not even being the squad

Bruce should just give others a run out and save most important players for the playoffs

We have to rest Grealish and Chester tomorrow. They are everything to us #avfc

Probably only 2 irreplaceable players in our team – Grealish and Chester.Bonkers if they play at Millwall #utv #avfc

Verdict:
I agree on resting Jack for the game, but I am not in favour of wholesale changes like some are advocating. If most are left out, some would not have played for two weeks heading into the first leg of the playoffs next week.
It’s a fine balancing act for Steve Bruce to perform, as he looks to keep some players out of the firing line to protect them for a more important fixture, but also ensuring that match sharpness is kept.
I think the likeliest outcome will be a half and half team for the game against Millwall, but we shall see.
