Not For Sale – Jack’s Going Nowhere Apart From Home…Eventually

With Aston Villa taking Championship Play-Off glory earlier in the week as we took Wembley victory over Derby County to finally return to the Premier League, the celebrations and optimism for the future speaks for itself.

With plenty of stories and images doing the rounds when it comes to fans and players enjoying our moment in the sun, the transfer rumour mill has obviously kicked up a touch given our top flight return and one story that rumbles on is the future of Jack Grealish.

With our Academy graduate taking full advantage to celebrate his roll in our promotion, you only have to look at his messages on social media given he’s called for Tyrone Mings to sign permanently for a start to know that he really doesn’t sound like a lad looking for a move, regardless of what some in the press would like to claim.

But with ongoing Tottenham Hotspur speculation, CEO Christian Purslow has already said he’s not for sale this week, and Sky Sports appear to have joined the party as they have now reported he’ll remain with us and skipper us in our first year back at the top.

Hardly groundbreaking news as it’s what many of us had already assumed, but makes a change from ‘understands’ pieces linking him with a move away.
