The Birmingham Mail are reporting that the club are interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on loan.
Currently, the England international is said to be keen on another move to a Premier League side after playing for Swansea last season.
However, we are hopeful that the 20-year-old will decide to drop down a division. Most Villa fans were intrigued by the prospect of signing the forward:

In my view, Abraham is a proven Championship striker. He scored 23 goals for Bristol City just two seasons ago, and he now also has a season of first-team football in the Premier League under his belt.
He can hold up the ball, but he also has a number of other good attributes as well. He would be an important player for us if we did manage to seal a season-long loan deal.
