There’s plenty that can be said when it comes to how Aston Villa’s form has dipped following the injury to Jack Grealish and it’s not all positive as one man should never make a side tick.
Our Academy graduate is out in Dubai to focus and work on his rehabilitation and head coach Dean Smith has already given the positive message that he’ll be back with us in a few weeks, and having not seen him since the 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion in December, his return simply can’t come quick enough as we look to put a disappointing festive and New Year period behind us.
The 23-year-old took to social media himself this week to give the fans a small message about how his return to fitness is going after he picked up the shin problem, and it went over incredibly well with the fans.
Can’t wait to be back 🙏🏻❤️⚽️ pic.twitter.com/D5FHRRNGBo

The main worry is, can he return and find his form quick enough to help us close the gap that has now built on the Play-Off spots as anything but a Play-Off spot simply won’t be good enough for some.
Can’t wait to put even more pressure on you to carry this team !! ????????
