Sunday’s Championship clash between Birmingham City and Aston Villa at St Andrews created headlines for all the wrong reasons again unfortunately, but putting aside the stupidity of some so called football fans, there were plenty of reasons to be pleased at the fulltime whistle.
Jack Grealish’s continued inspiring appointment as skipper as he led us to victory and the bragging rights, and yet another colossal performance from on loan Bournemouth centre-half Tyrone Mings who is already a fan favourite and if we get him on a permanent deal next summer, he’s surely soon to be granted legend status if he maintains his performance levels.
With Mings again taking the plaudits from how he marshalled the back line in the game, he quickly took to social media after the match to celebrate the result and the response from Villa fans was predictable.
Praise, calls for him to ensure he signs a permanent contract – you know the drill.
Can you just sign permanently please?
