Highly rated Aston Villa Academy graduate Callum O’Hare found himself nominated this week for the Professional Footballers’ Association’s Player of the Month Award for April owing to his performances for loan club Carlisle United.
The 21-year-old talent headed out to Brunton Park late on in the January transfer window for his first loan spell away from Villa and it turned into a good success and experience for him as he added 16 further appearances to his professional senior tally (five starts & four substitute showings in our first team) and he bagged his maiden career goal and added two more strikes as well.
🏆 Congratulations to @CalOhare who has won the #PFAFansAward Player of the Month for April! @AVFCOfficial

With plenty of praise going his way from their fanbase and plenty tipping him for the top and wanting a hopeful return on loan next year, he certainly had a good April in isolation. He made five appearances, scored twice and added an assist as they won three on the spin in League Two.
Really happy to have won April’s POTM award! Thank you to everyone who voted🥳
