1) When did you become a Villa fan and why?

At the age of 5, my Dad bought me a Villa tracksuit and I was hooked, despite my Mother begging me not to do it and to ‘support a team that wins`

2) What is your favourite Villa moment of all time/most treasured memory?

I was at WHL watching Villa losing 2:0, when suddenly we scored 4 goals in 11 minutes! Dublin scored having only just returned to the team after breaking his neck, and Allan Wright sealed it with a beautiful volley. We were all chanting ‘let`s all have a disco` I`ve never experienced anything like it before nor sinceĀ….

3) If you could bring back a former Villa player into this team (at his peak) who would it be and why?

Paul McGrath, he was the only player allowed to wear his shirt un-tucked during Graham Taylors spell

4) Paul Lambert? Your opinion please?

I am pleased with the direction he is taking the club in. I like the football he is trying to play, and I respect him for sticking to his beliefs during the tougher times last season. I only wish he tried to utilize Bent more, if he had played, I`m sure we could recoup far more than 6mil

5) Best and worst moments of last season?

Worst had to be the Carling exit, we won`t get an easier opportunity than that for many years. Best – I was cheered on by the former players coming out and talking so passionately about the club. It was refreshing to hear interviews with the likes of Teale, Taylor and Ehiogu

6) Some say last season was a success, others not so much. What is your opinion?

Not a success, but an improvement on the previous season – which was the first time in my life that I didn`t bother going to a Villa game.

7) Your opinion of Randy Lerner and the board?

I respect Randy, he trusted MON, as we all did, but he was the one who lost most. He hasn`t moaned, just got back on with his job. I think he was unlucky with Houllier who I felt was also unfortunate. McLeish was a ‘lesson learned`, I feel Lambert was a shrewd move.

8) Which player/s should Villa sign this summer?

No point in me guessing, as I never know any names that we end up signing.

9) Which player/s should Villa get rid of this summer?

Hutton, Given, Ireland, Bannan,

10) Favourite current player?

Clarke – he had a tough last season, but I think that he will benefit from it.

11) Who was your first footballing hero and who are your favourite all time player/s?

Garry Shaw, Dwight Yorke

12) What do you expect us to do/finish this season?

Premier 12th
FA Cup: 3rd Round
Carling: 3rd Round

13) You can ask yourself any question you want to about Villa and what is your answer?

Why, after so many years, is our only consistent thing, to concede late goals?
